UT-ONE S16B is an accurate and versatile 16-channel benchtop thermometer readout. UT-ONE S16B is capable of measuring platinum resistance thermometers, thermistors and thermocouples. It has a large internal memory for storing measured data (at least 30 days of continuous acquisition). The user interface is realized using the acquisition software on a personal computer.

Resistance probes (PRTs) can be measured in 4-wire3-wire or 2-wire connection configuration. Banana connectors are user friendly, easily used with banana plugsbare wires or spade lugs.

UT-ONE S16B can be connected to the computer via the RS232 or USB interface using the UT-ONE Applications software. Power to thermometer readout is supplied via USB cable.

UT-ONE Applications

UT-ONE Applications software is a LabVIEW-based package of applications for communication between a personal computer and UT-ONE family thermometers readout. The aim of the UT-ONE Applications software is to provide a convenient general-purpose interface to the UT-ONE functionality from computer screen. UT ONE Applications also demonstrate the capabilities of the UT-ONE thermometer readout and may be used as the starting point for developing user applications, covering a specific measurement solution. UT-ONE Applications are delivered as an executable installer free-of-charge and require no additional licences. LabVIEW source code for selected applications is available on request for qualified customers.

UT-ONE Applications software consists of the following applications:

  • UT-ONE Interface is a support application, which mimics the UT-ONE user interface on computer screen. The user can control, acquire and export measurements, review/change user-defined probes and calibration data, and manage various settings of UT-ONE thermometer readout.
  • UT-ONE Probe Calibration Demo is a basic application for calibration by comparison of temperature probes (platinum-resistance(Pt100), thermistors and thermocouples) using the UT-ONE thermometer readout. This application measures reference temperature on one main channel and related resistance/emf of the probe under calibration on another main channel. Measurements at several calibration points are then combined and calibration coefficients are calculated and optionally stored in UT-ONE non-volatile memory. This application is applicable as a convenient tool for basic calibration of temperature probes, as well as for evaluation of UT-ONE capabilities.   • UT-ONE Range Readjustment application is a tool for checking the internal drift of the UT-ONE measurement circuits and optional adjustment of the reference value for each measurement range. Adjustment removes the drift error.
  • UT-ONE Climatic Chamber Validation is a specific application, which is used for the measurement of relative humidity and temperature distributions in a climatic chamber. This application is highly configurable and allows you to perform the validation in a wide variety of different ways.
  • UT-ONE Parallel Acquisition is an application that allows fast parallel acquisition from multiple UT-ONE units at the same time. This application is applicable for procedures where multiple temperature probes must be acquired at the same time and with a very short sampling time, so consecutive acquisition on a multi-channel device is not fast enough. This application allows acquisition rates of up to 2 samples per second on all probes. Acquired readings are presented on the graph and stored in a measurement file.
  • UT-ONE Communication Testing is a simple application, which is used to directly establish the communication with the UT-ONE and to test the syntax of the commands and responses in the UT-ONE remote command set.
  • UT-ONE Digitizing is an application for fast acquisition of raw data on temperature probes, connected to UT-ONE main channels. This application takes advantage of the special UT-UNE feature, which enables direct transfer of raw samples from the ADC to the USB interface. This feature enables fast sampling (digitizing) with up to 470 samples per second.
  • UT-ONE Log Viewer is an application, which allows the user to browse the contents of the UT-ONE internal logging memory. Depending on your UT-ONE model, the device may support logging to internal SD card, internal flash memory or both. Logging to internal SD card is only supported on device with built-in display (UT-ONE B03A and UT-ONE B03B). Logging to internal flash memories only supported on UT-ONE SxxB and selected UT-ONE B03B devices.
  • UT-ONE Temperature Monitoring is a simple application, that is capable of acquiring temperature from up to 12 probes connected to UT-ONE main channels. This application has a very straightforward configuration. Probes are automatically assigned to channels in ascending order from 1 to the number of available main channels (for example probe 01 is used for channel C1, probe 02 for channel C2, etc). In case if you need an application with more complex configuration ability, you may consider also the UT-ONE Climatic Chamber Validation application.
  • UT-ONE Firmware Upgrade is a support application used to upgrade the UT-ONE family firmware. At Batemika we are constantly improving our products and this application allows you to update your unit with new features. UT-ONE firmware upgrade is applicable to all models of the UT-ONE family of thermometer readouts.
