Humidity & Temperature
Humidity can affect various properties of air and the materials it comes in contact with. Therefore, when it comes to keeping products free of condensation, mold, corrosion, warping, or spoiling, the monitoring and measurement of humidity becomes crucial.
For instance, humidity measurement is vital in industries that produce and distribute foods, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, wood, fuels, textiles, and paper. Moreover, organizations such as art galleries, museums, hospitals, data centers, research laboratories, and semiconductor manufacturers also rely on humidity measurements.
Regular humidity calibration is required to ensure that humidity sensors continue to function properly. A humidity generator is often used to calibrate humidity sensors.
Temperature is a significant component in several manufacturing fields, including food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, aerospace, and logistics. Even a slight temperature fluctuation can impact product quality and safety. As temperature-testing equipment is prone to drift, temperature sensor calibrations are performed to ensure error-free outcomes.
Humidity and Temperature Calibration
At Supertron Sensing, we offer high-accuracy temperature and humidity calibration services that are reliable and compliant with industry standards. While some of our services are performed in specialized, climate-controlled laboratories, others are provided at client facilities for your convenience.
Similar to trace moisture calibration, temperature and humidity calibration in our laboratory also uses a NIST-proven Two-Pressure and Two-Temperature High Humidity Generator, Model 2500, and paralleled with a High Dew Point Chilled Mirror, Model 373H. Prior to gathering accurate data, we always make sure that humidity sensors have had enough time to stabilize and that the generator’s uniformity has been attained. Based on our most recent CMC, we have 0.2% to 1.2% uncertainty for temperature ranges between -10°C and 70°C.
We have a team of highly trained personnel who are well-equipped to conduct precise temperature and humidity calibrations, regardless of the location. Get in touch with us to transform your temperature and humidity equipment into calibrated temperature and humidity meters today!
